NERO (AdvaNced cybErsecurity awaReness ecOsystem for SMEs) is a European initiative funded under the Digital Europe Programme, designed to help Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) improve their cybersecurity posture through awareness, training, education, and innovative cybersecurity tools. The project delivered a comprehensive cybersecurity ecosystem that combines training programmes, cyber resilience services, assessment tools, and a marketplace for trusted cybersecurity solutions tailored to SMEs' needs. Through practical demonstrations and real-world use cases in sectors such as healthcare, finance, and transportation, NERO helped organisations build a security-first culture and strengthen their resilience against evolving cyber threats.

This webinar, organised jointly by NERO and NCC-CY, provided participants with an overview of the NERO ecosystem and its practical applications. Attendees gained valuable insights into the fundamentals of cybersecurity, explored the NERO Marketplace, learned about advanced Intrusion Detection Systems, and discover how NERO technologies are being applied in real healthcare environments to enhance cyber resilience.
