The participation of NCC-CY in the first independent annual cybersecurity conference of the Hungarian National Coordination Centre (NCC-HU), which took place on 6–7 October 2025 in Budapest within the framework of the European Cybersecurity Month and under the auspices of the 10th CyberSec Conference, represented an important opportunity for our organization.

Participation at «NCC-HU ANNUAL CYBERSECURITY CONFERENCE».
The conference enabled NCC-CY to explore the future of cybersecurity and strategies for addressing emerging challenges, while also providing access to knowledge about the role and activities of NCC-HU and how it supports EU-funded innovation and development programs. Furthermore, this knowledge strengthened NCC-CY in its duties as a national coordination centre.
On 6 October, the Hungarian cybersecurity ecosystem was presented, while on 7 October the focus shifted to international cooperation with the participation of speakers and representatives from across Europe.
The discussions covered EU-level cooperation and funding opportunities, strategic support for SMEs in innovation, best practices in vulnerability assessment and incident response, the protection of industrial infrastructures and information security audits, the role of artificial intelligence and deepfakes in cybersecurity, as well as new directions in cyberpsychology and awareness-raising.
On 7 October, Team Leader of NCC-CY, Mr. Polis Peratikos participated in a roundtable discussion entitled “Europe’s Cybersecurity Pulse: Energizing the NCC Network – Synergies amongst NCCs”, where it shared experiences, insights, and proposals with the Hungarian and wider European cybersecurity community.
Its presence contributed to the visibility of our organization, strengthened our collaboration network at the European level, and allowed the transfer of valuable knowledge and practices to our team.
