Successfully completed the Online Cross-Border Horizon Europe Cybersecurity Matchmaking Event
The event was dedicated to support consortium building for the following Horizon Europe Cybersecurity 2026 calls:
- HORIZON-CL3-2026-02-CS-ECCC-01 – Approaches and tools for security in software and hardware development and assessment;
- HORIZON-CL3-2026-02-CS-ECCC-02 – Enhancing the Security, Privacy and Robustness of AI Models and Systems – SecureAI;
- HORIZON-CL3-2026-02-CS-ECCC-03 – Advanced cryptographic schemes and High-Assurance high-speed cryptographic implementations
The event attracted 142 participants from EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries, including companies, SMEs, universities, research organisations, EDIHs, clusters, public institutions, operators of critical infrastructures and potential end-users.
The agenda included welcome remarks followed by three parallel breakout rooms, each dedicated to one of the targeted calls. The breakout rooms featured short pitching sessions, networking and consortium-building discussions, providing participants with the opportunity to present their project ideas and organisational expertise, identify potential consortium partners and engage in targeted networking discussions aimed at developing collaborative partnerships for Horizon Europe projects.
A total of twenty-four (24) presentations were delivered across the three breakout rooms. Participants shared draft project ideas and engaged in discussions to exchange knowledge, explore synergies and establish potential collaborations.
Participants were encouraged to contact their respective National Coordination Centre (NCC) in Cyprus, Romania, the Netherlands, Ireland, Croatia or Lithuania for further support in identifying partners and preparing project proposals.
