Greece played a leading role in preparing and shaping the initiative, while also hosting the CSC-EDIC headquarters in Athens. Cyprus, as a founding member of the Consortium alongside Greece, Austria, Croatia, and Slovenia, actively participated in the process that led to the establishment of this new European cooperation framework.
CSC-EDIC is expected to serve as the primary mechanism for developing educational programs, upskilling and reskilling initiatives, micro-certifications, and collaborations among member states, the academic community, and industry, thereby contributing to the creation of a stronger European cybersecurity ecosystem.
DSA was represented by the Team Leader of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCC-CY), Mr. Polys Peratikos, who also participated in the Digital Skills EU Days 2026 and European Digital Skills Awards 2026 events, establishing important contacts with European organizations in the fields of digital skills and cybersecurity.
