Boosting SMEs Cybersecurity Resilience: Championing Skills to Secure Growth amidst Emerging Challenges
The event aimed to help SMEs strengthen their cybersecurity resilience by exploring emerging challenges and highlighting the vital role of cybersecurity skills and regulatory compliance in defending against digital threats. Through insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and the exchange of best practices, the importance of upskilling as a catalyst for SME resilience and growth was emphasized.
In the opening address by the Commissioner of Communications, Mr. George Michaelides, emphasized the importance of collaboration and awareness as key elements for a secure and sustainable digital environment for SMEs.
The main speakers of the event were Christina Skouloudi and Marianna Kalenti from ENISA, Ioannis Panolias from the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCSA) of Greece as well as Stalo Demosthenous from the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The event also featured a panel discussion with representatives from DiGiNN, the European University of Cyprus, NCSA and CIRCL3.TECH
More than100 participants attended the conference, including professionals from the private sector and public authorities.
The DSA express their gratitude to all participants, speakers and partners who contributed to the success of this event, which was held for the second consecutive year and aims to become a well-established annual event.
