The conference titled "From Vision to Funding: DEP Calls Explained” was successfully held on July 9, 2025, at the premises of the ICT Academy of the Commissioner of Communications.
The event was organized by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, with the support of the Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority, acting as the designated National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCC-CY).
The main objective of the conference was to provide in-depth information to key stakeholders regarding the core provisions of the Digital Europe Programme (DEP), with a particular focus on the latest DEP calls, encouraging national participation in European digital initiatives.
The programme included:
• A detailed presentation of current and upcoming funding opportunities under the DEP.
• A dedicated session on challenges in the field of cybersecurity, emphasizing the role of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) and the strategic priorities of the Member States.
• Practical guidance on application procedures, funding mechanisms, and the importance of cross-border cooperation.
The conference attracted over 100 participants from a wide range of organizations, including SMEs, research institutions, public bodies, and private sector entities.
At the same time, the event served as a networking hub, fostering connections among stakeholders and promoting the formation of consortia and strategic collaborations.
