During the festival, over 3,000 visitors had the opportunity to learn about and engage with the world of cybersecurity through various activities. These initiatives aimed to highlight the importance of cybersecurity for society and to encourage career paths in the field.

The main objectives of the event included:

• Educating children about internet risks and safe usage.
• Encouraging young people to consider cybersecurity as a career option.
• Providing useful tips to parents for protecting their children online.
• Allowing participants to explore the exciting world of cybersecurity through interactive activities.

Representatives from significant entities and organizations participated with booths at the festival, including:

• University of Cyprus
• Cyprus Police – Cyber Crime Sub-Directorate
• Cyprus Computer Society
• Cyprus Safer Internet Centre, Cyprus Pedagogical Institute
• National Committee on Environment and Child Health (NCECH)
• Cyprus University of Technology

On the first day, the festival hosted organized visits from primary schools, while on the second day, thousands of visitors had the opportunity to learn about the importance of cybersecurity and participate in activities.

The event was held as part of the European Cybersecurity Month, which promotes the connection of citizens, organizations, and institutions throughout the European Union to enhance the significance of cybersecurity across all sectors of society.
