On November 21, 2025, the NCC-CY, in partnership with the NCCs of Slovenia and Croatia, presented new European funding opportunities under the DEP program (DIGITAL-ECCC-2025-DEPLOY-CYBER-09) with a total budget of €50 million.

Online Info Day on DEP9 Cybersecurity Calls
The presentation covered thematic areas such as AI-based cybersecurity tools, SME solutions, preparedness testing, and regional cable hubs.
Dedicated “Tips & Tricks” sessions delivered by ECCC representatives covered best practices for drafting successful proposals, evaluation considerations, and common mistakes to avoid. Through interactive discussions, participants had the opportunity to clarify technical points and receive advice related to the calls.
The event attracted 89 participants from academia, public, and private sectors and was coordinated by Mr. Karlo Vugrinec from NCC of Croatia, one of the co-organizing NCCs.
Pitching Session
A follow-up online session on December 1, 2025, included four breakout rooms and a pitching session, allowing participants to discuss project ideas and consortium formation, offering participants the opportunity to present project ideas, discuss consortium needs, and find potential partners for future proposals.
A total of six (6) presentations were delivered across the rooms, participants shared draft ideas and engaged in discussions to exchange insights.
For any support in finding partners or submitting project ideas, participants were encouraged to contact their respective local NCC (Cyprus, Croatia, or Slovenia).
