Acting as the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity (NCC-CY), the DSA led the Cypriot presence at BEYOND Expo, coordinating and organizing the national pavilion. The pavilion hosted ten (10) organizations and companies, all members of the National Cybersecurity Community. Participants had the opportunity to showcase advanced solutions, innovative products, and specialized services in the field of digital security. The event also provided a platform for strengthening networking ties and fostering collaborations with stakeholders from the global technology and business ecosystem—further promoting Cyprus’s position in the European and international cybersecurity landscape.

The pavilion attracted significant interest, drawing dozens of visitors, and facilitating valuable networking meetings, discussions on potential partnerships, and presentations that highlighted the capabilities of Cyprus’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

As part of the exhibition, the Head of the DSA, Mr. Diamantis Zafeiriadis, actively engaged in both business and institutional meetings, representing the Authority. He also delivered a presentation titled:
“Artificial Intelligence in Cybersecurity: Practical Applications and Challenges,” which focused on:

• The opportunities AI brings for enhancing threat prevention and response mechanisms
• The challenges posed by the rapid evolution of AI technologies
• The need for regulatory frameworks, transparency, and the ethical use of AI in cyberspace

The DSA’s participation was a resounding success, adding significant value to Cyprus’s representation in the field of digital technology and innovation. The presentation of cutting-edge technological solutions by Cypriot companies strengthened Cyprus’s image as a reliable, innovative, and technologically advanced partner in the cybersecurity sector.
