Participation on 13th Governing Board Meeting of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), on 2–3 July in Rome
As a member of the Governing Board, the Cypriot delegation made a substantial contribution to the strategic discussions aimed at reinforcing the pan-European cybersecurity ecosystem.
Additionally, on 1 July, the Office, in its role as the designated National Coordination Centre (NCC-CY), took part in the Networking Day of the National Coordination Centres (NCCs), presenting Cyprus’ key actions and initiatives. The event provided a valuable opportunity for sharing experiences and strengthening cross-border cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
This dual participation reaffirms Cyprus’ strong commitment to playing an active role in shaping European policy in the critical area of digital security.
Cyprus was represented by the Commissioner of Communications Mr George Michaelides and the Head of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC-CY).
