A roundtable discussion on the needs of cybersecurity startups was held on 17th May. The event was an initiative of the Digital Security Authority, as the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre of Cyprus (NCC-CY), and aimed to identify the main points that the NCC-CY can contribute to the further development of start-ups.

Roundtable discussion on the needs of start-up in the cybersecurity sector
The primary objective of the discussion was to gather information directly from the start-ups operating in the cybersecurity sector on their short and long-term needs, with the aim of exploring the possibility of DSA supporting their efforts.
Participants in the discussion included the Commissioner for Communications, Mr. George Michaelides, the Chief Scientist, Mr. Dimitris Skourides, the Head of the Digital Security Authority, Mr. Diamantis Zafeiriadis, and the Director General of RIF, Mr. Theodoros Loukaidis.
