The NCC-CY successfully held an online Info Day webinar for the new Cybersecurity Call for proposals under the Horizon Europe. The keynote speaker was Mr. Konstantinos Kokosis, Policy Officer at DG CONNECT and the event was coordinated by Mrs. Pinelopi Velentza, Officer of Administrative Affairs.

Successfully completed the Online Info Day, New Funding Calls for Cybersecurity under the Horizon Europe programme
The event aimed to raise awareness among participants about the new European funding calls for cybersecurity development activities. The call HORIZON-CL3-2024-CS-01-01 - Approaches and tools for security in software and hardware development and assessment focuses on integrating security engineering in software and hardware development, especially for continuous security assessments, compliance, and auditability, with a focus on open-source technologies.
Additionally, the aim of the call HORIZON-CL3-2024-CS-01-02 - Post-quantum cryptography transition is to prepare for the transition to quantum-resistant cryptography to protect digital data and systems from future quantum-powered attacks, ensuring secure communications and upgrading vulnerable cryptographic systems.
The event was supported by the ECCC and the European Commission, with 18 participants from the academic, public, and private sectors.
