CyberUnity Project is an EU-funded cybersecurity research and innovation project running from 2024–2026 under the DIGITAL-ECCC-2022-CYBER-03-CYBER-RESILIENCE programme. It brings together a consortium of European research, academic, and industry partners to strengthen Europe’s cyber defence capabilities.

The core aim is to create a federation of interoperable cyber range infrastructures - virtual environments where realistic cyberattack and defense exercises can be run - so that organizations across sectors and countries can work together on shared threats.

To achieve this the project is building open interoperability standards and a secure framework that enables cross-organization, cross-border cyber range services, supporting:

• A Knowledge Repository for shared tools, scenarios, and best practices;
• Cyber-Range-as-a-Service (CRaaS), making advanced cyber training accessible EU-wide
• Demonstrations of federated cyber range use in critical infrastructure scenarios.

By doing so, CyberUnity aims to train and support cyber defenders, foster collaboration among Member States, and make EU cyber resilience more coordinated, scalable, and effective.
