On September 8 and 9, 2025, members of the NCC-CY team participated in a training session focused on the management of European funded projects.  The training was also attended by team members from other departments of the Digital Security Authority (DSA), such as the National Cybersecurity Certification Authority, the Department of European Projects, and the Department of Regulation, Strategy and Supervision.

The conference titled "From Vision to Funding: DEP Calls Explained” was successfully held on July 9, 2025, at the premises of the ICT Academy of the Commissioner of Communications.

The event was organized by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, with the support of the Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority, acting as the designated National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCC-CY).

On 7 and 8 July 2025, the AR (Awareness Raising) in a Box for SMEs seminar was held at the ICT Academy of the Office of the Commissioner of Communications.

AR-in-a-Box is a methodology developed by ENISA (European Union Agency for Cybersecurity), specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It offers a comprehensive solution for implementing targeted and effective cybersecurity awareness campaigns, providing all the necessary tools to integrate cybersecurity into the corporate culture.

On Friday, June 27, 2025, the Office of the Commissioner of Communications of Communications – Digital Security Authority, as the NCC-CY (National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity in Cyprus), participated in the SummerUp educational program, held at the European University Cyprus, with the aim of presenting the interactive platform HackShield. 

The presentation was attended by Ms. Gianna Danidou, Lecturer in Cybersecurity at the European University Cyprus, and Ms. Georgia Solomou, President of the organization Women4Cyber, further reinforcing the message of the importance of education and awareness around online safety.
