As part of International Safer Internet Day, the Digital Security Authority (DSA) participated in the workshop entitled "Together for a better internet," which took place on February 11, 2026, at Ktima Kousioumi in the province of Nicosia. Safer Internet Day is organized every February with the aim of promoting the safe and positive use of digital technology, especially among children and young people.

On 17 December 2025, at the ICT Academy of the Office of the Commissioner for Communications, the Stakeholders Meeting in the Cybersecurity Sector took place.

The meeting was attended by over 120 participants, including representatives of relevant Ministries, organizations, key and important entities, academic institutions and experts, with the aim of exchanging views and strengthening cooperation between the stakeholders involved.

Applications for participation in the Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) are now open.

 

The Strategic Advisory Group will serve as a central advisory body of the ECCC, providing strategic recommendations on European priorities in cybersecurity, research, innovation, and the development of the European ecosystem.

The European Commission officially announced the Digital Europe Programme for the period 2025–2027, with a budget of €4 million, aiming to strengthen Cybersecurity Hubs (Cyber Hubs) across the European Union.

On November 21, 2025, the NCC-CY, in partnership with the NCCs of Slovenia and Croatia, presented new European funding opportunities under the DEP program (DIGITAL-ECCC-2025-DEPLOY-CYBER-09) with a total budget of €50 million.

On December 3, 2025, the NCC-CY organized a Training of Auditors for the CyberHygiene Framework for SMEs. The training of the Certification Bodies was part of the implementation of the Funding Scheme for the Programme «Enhancing Cybersecurity for SMEs and Tourism Sector» and was related to the process of ensuring the certification of SMEs by implementing the NCC-CY Cyber-Hygiene Framework for SMEs.

The NCC-CY team participated in a two-day training programme on 13 and 14 November 2025, aimed at strengthening their expertise and practical skills in cybersecurity.  The training was also attended by team members from other departments of the Digital Security Authority (DSA), such as the National Cybersecurity Certification Authority and the Department of Regulation, Strategy and Supervision.
